Terms and Conditions 

Quotes and Payments

You will receive your quote via email with in 48 hours. Your order is not considered booked, nor is your date reserved, until payment has been received. I require a deposit of 50% of the total cost at the time of invoicing. Once that payment is made your order will be considered booked and the date held. If I do not receive the deposit I will release your date. The remaining balance is due before pickup.

Changes/Cancellations

Once your order is submitted I will try to accommodate any changes. If I am able to, within a weeks notice, I will make the needed changes. I cannot accommodate any changes made within a week of the due date. 

It is understandable that life happens and you may need to cancel. You may cancel up to a week in advance of the due date and receive a full refund of the deposit. If you have to cancel after the order has been started within that week time frame, I will be unable to refund you the deposit as the order is already in process. These are custom sets made to your specific needs. If you need to reschedule your event at the very last minute (cookie order is already complete), cookies can be frozen and stored for up to three months while still tasting fresh and delicious.

If for any reason I am unable to compete your order on the agreed upon schedule, a full refund will be issued.

Pick Up & Delivery

Both pick up and delivery of cookies are an option. Delivery availability is within 25 miles of my home for an additional fee. Delivery dates and times will be discussed during the planning phase of the order. 

Adhering to the agreed upon pick up date and time is very important. If you absolutely cannot make the agreed upon time, I request you reach out 24 hours prior and I will make every effort to be able to accommodate a reschedule.

No-calls, no-shows will receive a courtesy email. Failure to reply within 24 hours will be considered abandoned and result in a forfeiture of all payments and the cookies. No refunds will be given for abandoned orders.

All Sales are final. Once you pick up your order, what happens to your cookies is your responsibility. Keep them safe, keep them cool and keep them away from furry friends and family with a sweet tooth until you are ready to enjoy them. 

Design Parameters

When requesting a custom set of cookies you will have lots of ideas and probably lot’s of Pinterest inspiration photos. I will work with you to narrow down that vision and create a set that you love.  Once we have determined the designs and color pallet and your order is set, major changes can only be made up to one week prior to the due date. Revisions will be considered by a case-by-case basis and additional fees may apply. All designs, quantities, and event dates are final 7 days prior to your pick up date and no additional changes will be granted.

Speaking of inspiration  pictures. Please remember that they are that,  inspiration. I cannot fully replicate another cookie artists work. Often times the shapes are speciality cutters that I may not have or be able to get. I will however work to capture the elements you love and create a design you love even more.

Every effort will be made to adhere to your color scheme, but I cannot guarantee a perfect color match. Also note that each cookie is handmade and it is inevitable that there will be variances - like snowflakes, they are each unique. These are custom cookies designed for your needs, once you sign off on the designs I will create the set as specified. If you change your mind after the set is complete I cannot provide a refund and will expect full payment for the work completed. I will have provided you a product specified by you that you agreed upon.

Item care/Allergies

Once the cookies are in your care, they are your responsibility. Baked goods should be stored and transported in cool, dark spaces away from the sun and heat. Do not store cookies in the fridge as it builds condensation on the designs. You will leave with a Cookie Care card with full instructions for the care of your cookies.

Food Laws. The state department of health does not inspect the premises

and there are no allergy/gluten/nut free options available. All cookies may contain common allergens such as milk, wheat, and soy and be cross contaminated by any other allergens. I am meticulously clean and careful with any food in my kitchen and use my knowledge in the baking and cooking world to deliver the best to you. As much as I would love to bake for every single person, if the recipient of these cookies has severe allergies, I would highly suggest you find a bakery with a commercial kitchen who can be sure there is no chance of contamination.
